To join, click the "Join this group" button on the top bar. Joining is different from watching: as a watcher, you will get notice of all the group artwork and blogs, but you will not be able to submit artwork or participate in any contests.
Only members may submit artwork. Please submit your artwork to the appropriate folder. The folder called "Member Submissions" will be where the majority of the artwork will go.
Please only submit your own artwork. We have been overrun with submissions by other people requesting that an individual's artwork be placed in the group. Submitting in this manner adds an extra step because the artist has to approve that the piece be int he group. Anything that is not submitted to the correct folder will be denied. Folder contents are pretty self-explanatory.
Also, please be aware that we do not accept screen grabs.. This is against DA's policy and can get you banned from the site. Admins will be going through the galleries and removing any pieces that violate these terms. Repeat offenders will be removed from the group.
We do not discriminate on artistic ability; however, please don't spam the submissions with hastily drawn Muro or Paint projects; a few will be accepted, but if the submissions become too frequent, they will likely be turned down or removed from the gallery if they were automatically approved.
Suggestions to Favorites
If you know that a person is not a member, and you want to suggest one of their pieces to the gallery, please suggest it to the "Favorites" rather than the main gallery. This avoids the middle step, as the artist does not have to approve a submission to favorites.
Please do not suggest your own work to the favorites folder; we would like to reserve favorites for showcasing non-member artwork.
A Christmas Scooby Part 1As my parents took me downtown to see the hottest Christmas presents down at Kresge’s, others crowded around the window panes to gaze in on the newfound treasures like Santa eyeing a cookie left on a plate by a chimney. Other kids had eyes for G.I. Joe, dolls, toy cars, hula hoops and bicycles.A Christmas Scooby Part 1 by ~Jaguaro
“Whatcha lookin’ at, Freddie Jones?” my shaggy-haired pal Norville asked as snow began to accumulate on my stocking cap.
But I had no words to describe my dream, resting on its side toward the back, the Sherlock Holmes Detective Kit, limited edition, signed by the master, Basil Rathbone himself. It would be mine this Christmas, I swore to myself.

As I awoke the next morning, I resolved to put my plan into action. My other pal Velma gave me a bit of advice for getting the top toy on your list. Place lots of hints, but not too subtle and not too overt. I wasn’t sure about what those words meant, but I

A raised platform had been erected next to the front of the store. The time had come, the word had gone out and everybody congregated in front of the platform. Mr & Mrs Dinkley and Eric took their seats on the platform. A few TV news crews had set up their cameras while the local media was there in force. Shaggy stood up to address the ‘troops’, the crowd hushed, the only sound was of flags fluttering in the breeze, he raised his right hand and made the sign “live long and prosper," he said quietly, he cleared his throat preparing to speak. Close to the front Daphne stood with the rest of the command staff. Both she and Fred had been offered seats in the platform but had declined preferring to take their place with their respective teams. Daphne took out her phone and started to film; she didn’t know what was going to happen but knew it would be good.

Velma decided it was time to try out her theory that she could be heard. She needed to pick a time when the store was occupied but quiet, that gave her a window of just a couple before and after it closed. From the yawning and general sluggishness of her captors as they prepared themselves, and her, for the day ahead she guessed it was very early in the morning, her best estimate was 6am. From various snippets of conversation she deduced they were going elsewhere for much of the day which was ideal from her point of view as it reduced the chance of them interrupting her. Finally she was alone, she waited and listened for any signs they were still around. Satisfied that they had gone she began to slowly count to 3600.
Rudi yawned as he swiped into the FlatterPack store. He had some work to do on the stall before Sonia came to get things ready for the day. He shook his head sadly at the sight of the em
